ABOUT

Ruby is a professional makeup artist specialising in fashion and theatre. She is currently training at Arts University Bournemouth, and will graduate June 2020 with a BA Hons in Makeup for Media and Performance.

 

She has worked on a variety of fashion and editorial photo shoots, where she enjoys expressing her love of colour and contrasting makeup finishes to a high standard. She has the ability to adapt her personal makeup style to suit her clients’ needs. This can range from soft and glowing looks, to more graphic and bold.

 

When executing beauty makeup, she works closely with the clients’ facial features to create individual looks, that enhance their own natural beauty. She considers that less is often more, particularly when it comes to skin.

 

Ruby also has experience in both assisting, and being the Makeup Designer and Supervisor of theatre productions. She enjoys wig making, and also has substantial knowledge of prosthetic makeup.

 

In any context, it is important to Ruby that her model is made to feel comfortable and involved during the makeup process.
